Proactive security is not possible

Smart contract hackers have plagued the DeFi space since its inception. For the past years, security researchers have proposed various proactive security solutions, which all rely on the ability to 'front-run' the hacker's transaction. However, the existing MEV supply chain allows hackers to send private transactions that cannot be detected until it's too late. The existing MEV supply chain makes it impossible to provide proactive security.
